Saturday night I had the chance to go to the movies — for the first time in a long time — to see Inkheart. Later on that night, I got to watch Max Payne on DVD.
Inkheart
Inkheart is a pretty decent movie. However, it is NOT what I expected from the previews. I didn’t actually expect there to be a backstory like the one it had. I’m not sure if I think there should be a sequel, but I would like to see more. I may end up reading the books. Inkheart is the first book in the Inkworld Trilogy. I just read through a plot summary of the Inkheart book. It appears that it doesn’t end the same way. This paves the way for the next two books. Sounds interesting.
Max Payne
Unfortunately, I’ve never had the chance to play the Max Payne games. However, this gave me the chance to watch the movie with an open mind. It didn’t disappoint. If you’re looking for a movie to rent go ahead and give it a shot. I’m also probably going to look around for a copy of the game to borrow / rent so I can play it.
