While things slow down at work, I find myself browsing the news. Today there are a few things that caught my eye and/or made me laugh.
First, Best Buy’s Super Bowl commercial featuring non other than the great Ozzy and… Justin Bieber? That’s right. A pair you’d probably never expect to see. Despite the “WTF effect” of the headline, the commercial actually did make me laugh. Well played, Best Buy.
(Oh, speaking of the Super Bowl, the Packers won it.)
Next up is Xperia Play. When I first heard about this, I was ecstatic. Now that I’ve seen videos of it on YouTube, I am a tad disappointed. Aside from being on a phone with the Android OS, I don’t really see what it offers. That being said, the Super Bowl commercial was definitely interesting.
There was also an article for filming to start on The Hobbit next month. I’m a huge fan of the Lord of the Rings series (books, films, and games). I hope this movie does it justice.
There’s a Transformers 3 coming out? Man, I’m behind. I’m still undecided on if I should be surprised or not. Anyway, I discovered this because of the Super Bowl Commercial yesterday. Apparently, Megan Fox isn’t in it this time. I can hear the cries of outrage already. I think Rosie Huntington Whiteley, who replaces Megan, will get mixed reactions. Personally, I believe it could be a good change. Guess we’ll find out in July.
